Resident Guidelines

At Service Nexus, we’re dedicated to providing you with the most convenient and reliable waste collection service, ensuring your community stays clean and beautiful. Following these simple guidelines helps us maintain the highest standards for everyone!

  1. Bag All Waste Properly

  • Guideline: Please ensure all waste, especially food waste, is securely tied in durable trash bags. Place all bagged waste inside your Service Nexus Bin(s).

  • Why it helps: This helps prevent spills, leaks, and odors in the hallways, keeping the community clean and fresh for all residents.

2. Place Your Bin Out During Designated Hours

  • Guideline: Please place your Service Nexus bin(s) just outside your front door only during our designated collection window, between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on collection nights (Sunday through Thursday). And retrieve your empty bin(s) the following morning.

  • Why it helps: This maintains the aesthetic appeal of the community and keeps it clear and safe during the day.

3. Use Your Provided Service Nexus Bin

  • Guideline: Always place your bagged trash directly inside your Service Nexus bin(s). Avoid leaving bags on the floor next to or outside the bin(s). If applicable, place only recyclable waste in the Service Nexus recycle bin.

  • Why it helps: Using the bin(s) prevents accidental spills, protects the hallway surfaces, and makes collection smooth and efficient for our team.

4. Understand Prohibited Items

  • Guideline: To ensure safety and proper disposal, please do not place the following items in your Service Nexus bin(s):

    • Loose, unbagged trash

    • Hazardous waste (e.g., paint, chemicals, batteries, electronics, medical waste)

    • Construction debris (e.g., drywall, wood)

    • Sharp Objects (e.g., broken glass, needles, knives) that are not securely contained

    • Hot ashes or flammable materials

    • Bags that are excessively heavy and difficult to lift (e.g., bags weighing more than 15lbs)

  • Why it helps: This ensures the safety of our team, prevents damage to our equipment, and ensures proper waste management for the community.
